Patrick is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in relationship management, business development, and teaching, spanning multiple industries and years. His expertise in banking, environmental sustainability, and corporate social responsibility has enabled him to excel in various roles.
As a Relationship Officer at OmniBSIC Bank Limited, Patrick demonstrated exceptional skill in examining financial documents, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to evaluate credit facilities. He also drove sales efforts to expand the bank’s customer base, conducted market research, and identified potential sales opportunities. Notably, he conducted thorough assessments of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks associated with clients, which played a pivotal role in approving loan applications.
Prior to OmniBSIC, Patrick served as a Relationship Officer at First Atlantic Bank, where he achieved significant increases in deposit targets, risk asset targets, and FX sales assets within a short period. He developed new client relationships, conducted KYC reviews, and presented business development strategies to senior management.
In addition to his banking experience, Patrick has a strong background in education, having taught Mathematics and Physics to both mainstream and special needs students at Multikids Inclusive Academy. His passion for inclusive education has led him to volunteer with Multikids Africa and Liquid Love Foundation, advocating for the rights of children with learning disabilities.
Currently, Patrick serves as the ESG Consultant for Lumorus, leveraging his expertise to support the company’s sustainability initiatives and ESG strategy. He works closely with the team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, providing insights and recommendations to drive long-term success.
Patrick’s commitment to pro-bono sustainability and advocacy for learning disabilities has earned him several awards, including the Punctuality Award (2018) and Staff of the Term Award (2019) at Multikids Inclusive Academy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and numerous certifications in areas such as ESG, climate change, disaster risk reduction, information security, risk management, compliance management, corporate finance, sustainability, and various ISO standards.
