She first joined the organization as a Board Member and Volunteer in Paris, France, in 2008. After thirteen years in this role, she stepped up to her current position in the UK in September 2021.  </p><p>Rosemary's philanthropic efforts also extend to the field of education. Since 2018, she has been serving as a part-time Board Member with CAMFED - Campaign for Female Education, an organization based in Cambridge, England. Moreover, she's been a volunteer patron for the Youth Business International in London since 2008, thereby contributing to the cause of youth entrepreneurship. </p><p>Prior to her shift to the non-profit sector, Rosemary had a successful and lengthy career at Accenture. Over 28 years, from 1978 to 2006, she climbed the ranks to become a partner. leadership with groups of local authorities whose leadership, planning, regulatory and infrastructure roles are critical to business growth. These bodies bring an integrated approach across real economic geographies, fostering a strong environment for business growth in a sustainable way.​ </p><p>He has extensive experience across a range of sectors with specific skills in complex cross-sector strategy, and a combination of business and local government partnerships to achieve geographic-specific objectives. ​ </p><p>In 2015 Mike was awarded an OBE for Services to the Economy Development in the North-West and in 2016 was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Manchester Metropolitan University.​ </p>
