Mohammad Abbas Ali Mallik is currently pursuing an MSc in International Accounting and Finance at Aston University Business School in the UK. This program aims to deepen his knowledge in international financial regulations, financial analysis, and strategic financial management, building on two decades of professional experience. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting, which provided a solid foundation in financial and managerial accounting as well as business management principles. Additionally, he completed the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA, equipping him with in-depth knowledge of financial management, performance management, and UK taxation. 

Mohammad began his career as a cashier in a small business, where he gained fundamental knowledge in accounting, finance, and business operations. He then pursued professional qualifications with ACCA and joined Mahfel Huq, where he advanced from Assistant Manager to Director. In these roles, he developed expertise in accounting, auditing, and assurance services. 

Throughout his career, Mohammad has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence in accounting and auditing. His extensive experience in various roles has equipped him with a diverse skill set, enabling him to excel in complex financial environments. His dedication to continuous improvement and professional growth has made him a valuable asset to any organisation. 

Mohammad’s skill set includes financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting, and conducting both internal and external audits. Known for his strong leadership capabilities, analytical abilities, and interpersonal competencies, he is recognised as a reliable and hardworking professional.

As part of his academic requirements at Aston University Business School, Mohammad is currently undertaking a Finance Internship with Lumorus. This role is designed to provide him with practical work experience in the UK, thereby enhancing his skills and preparing him for a future career as a financial professional.
